"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.”

~Margaret Mead
- Come, gather symbolically 'round the campfire, where together we discover the medicine in art, story, and human connection. My pedagogy is fueled by the belief that community is important, play is a form of research, fun belongs in education, and we learn best that which we do. To this end, whether I am facilitating Theatre for Social Change, Storytelling, Playback Theatre, Theatre Survey, Acting, or Creative Processes classes and workshops, participants are in motion, learning through creation, laughter, mistake-making, feedback, and self-reflection. We engage and collaborate as we both create community and reach out to impact community. In the process, we practice positive interdependence, integrity, active listening, and face-to-face interaction. In this atmosphere of personal and group accountability ideas transform into reality. The result is a challenging, immersive and lively learning experience that contributes to higher self-esteem and the formation of significant social connections while contributing to the betterment of the world. Ultimately, I strive to co-create, through the liberatory arts, reflective environments focused on how we thrive as we explore what it means to "have the courage to be happy."
